  • Ian David Aronson is the Founding Director of the Center for Technology-based Education and Behavioral Health at NDRI-USA. He has doctorate in Educational Communication and Technology from NYU, and an MA in Documentary Film and Video from Stanford University. He also completed an NIH/NIDA-funded Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Behavioral Science. He is a native of New York City.

  • Originally from Houston, Texas, Anthony Cramer is a pre-medical student with a BS in Biomedical Sciences from Texas A&M University, and actively pursuing a Master’s of Public Health from NYU's “Community Health Science and Practice” program. As a research assistant involved in a study based in East Harlem, NYC focused on increasing COVID vaccination among people who inject drugs, he is extremely passionate about working to improve healthcare outcomes in populations that experience health disparities. He hopes to continue this work via continued research opportunities, alongside future endeavors as an aspiring physician. 

  • Robert Quiles is a highly experienced research assistant from Brooklyn, NY and has worked on studies conducted by NDRI, NYU and the University of Rochester.

    He has researched addiction and HIV risk for the past 25 years, and is acutely aware of the unique and complex ethical issues related to these areas of study. Based on his years of experience as a community research worker in Harlem, South Bronx and Brooklyn, he understands the need to continually address the needs of our marginalized communities and the individuals who reside there.
